TSM GLOBAL Turkey Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. opened with a ceremony, the new “Ankara Regional Directorate” facilities consisting of sales, service, spare parts, show-room and training center with a closed area of approximately 3,500 square meters.
Speaking at the ceremony attended by a distinguished group of guests, Fethi Yaşar, Mayor of Yenimahalle, pointed out that Yenimahalle is an important center in the field of construction and construction machinery and underlined the importance of this important investment made by TSM GLOBAL. Reminding that this investment contributed to the development of the region, Yaşar wished TSM GLOBAL’s continued success.
In his speech, Akira Kato, General Manager of SUMITOMO Excavators, who was present at the ceremony, stated that Sumitomo, whose roots date back to the 16th century, has been producing excavators since 1963 and stated that environmentally friendly, efficient and powerful Sumitomo excavators are used all over the world. Drawing attention to the importance of Ankara in the sector, Kato said, “We believe that Ankara Regional Directorate will break new grounds in the sector in terms of customer satisfaction and after-sales services and will make a great contribution to customer satisfaction. With strategic decisions taken in 2014 Kato, recalled that Sumitomo has choosen Turkey epicenter to neighboring countries and said “in this short time, I congratulate the entire team because they complement the TSM GLOBAL structuring with this investment made all over Turkey. The first principle of Sumitomo is “trust”. He also added “we will maintain this trust that we created our belief in Turkey”.
Speaking at the ceremony the TSM GLOBAL CEO Taner Sonmez is the world’s leading brands, they are a major regional power by gathering together and underlined that Turkey complete the restructuring in a very short time. “It is a very pleasing feeling for us to open our facility, which consists of such important sales, service, spare parts, training and show-room, to your service in a very short time in Capital Ankara, which is in a very important position for us and where the heart of the industry beats. Sönmezer said that their aim is to offer their customers the best, fast and high quality solutions 24/7.

Sumitomo, Hyster and Ammann brand products, which were exhibited exclusively for the opening, attracted great attention while the opening program continued with the cocktail given after the ribbon cutting ceremony held after the speeches. Especially HA90C series asphalt paving machine and SH200 Hybrid excavators which were brought to Turkey by Sumitomo for the first time got brownie points from the visitors.
