Specially developed by MTG engineers, COMET series claws offer a combination of robustness, multi-functionality and ease of use required by the mini construction equipment market. Featuring an innovative design with MTG’s patented top locking system that is completely hammerless, the COMET series allows for incredibly easy installation and removal. The design allows for fast, safe and easy nail replacement with just two assembly steps, the curved pin with integrated flap holder can be inserted even by hand, and the installation is completed with a click sound. The lugs can be removed just as easily, making it easier to work in the field with its user-friendly design.
High Abrasion Resistance and Diving
MTG COMET lugs offer optimized wear resistance, increased stability and reversible threads for maximum reliability and longer wear life. The new connection design provides 30% larger contact areas for increased tooth-adapter stability. The overall design better protects the claw adapter, locking and welding seams from the flow and effects of excavated material while reducing plastic deformation in the claw connection.
With its special design, its robustness, its special form that can be used on both sides, COMET is an innovative claw system that ensures smooth operations for small construction machines. It is specifically designed for all digging applications of excavators, skid steer loaders and backhoe loaders under 15 tons.
