TSM GLOBAL, which participated in the Marble Fair, attracted great attention with its new 7 series SUMITOMO excavators and HYSTER forklifts and the solutions it offers “from quarry to port”, while its new brand Astra trucks were also on display.
TSM GLOBAL wind blew at the 28th Izmir International Natural Stone and Technologies Fair organized this year. Japanese giant Sumitomo’s new 7 series excavators met with the marble sector for the first time at the fair. Sumitomo’s SH500LHD-7 MASS and SH520LHD-7 MASS models took place at the fair and visitors showed great interest in the new 7 series.
SH500LHD-7 MASS and SH520LHD-7 MASS models stand out as the most preferred tonnages in marble quarries in Turkey. Sumitomo 7 series excavators with the new and environmentally friendly Isuzu engine with Euro 5 standards, which came into force in our country, attract attention with their low fuel consumption and environmentally friendly technology. Sumitomo’s new 7 series powerful and environmentally friendly engine is combined with an efficient hydraulic pump and “Sumitomo Intelligent Hydraulic Control System” (SIHIS) technology. Thus, Sumitomo’s excavators, which offer high power, efficiency, performance, series and ease of use, make production in marble quarries more profitable.
These environmentally friendly engines, which reduce emission values, further reduce the cost per ton thanks to the technologies developed for fuel efficiency in Sumitomo excavators.
Production Increases with Unique Technologies
Sumitomo’s new 7 series excavators were highly appreciated by customers at the fair and visitors had the opportunity to see the unique technologies up close. Visitors were informed about Sumitomo’s technologies such as SSC (Piston Stroke Control), PTR (Pump Transition Drop), AES (Automatic Energy Saving), BES (Boom Down Energy Saving) and experienced the renewed cabin offering comfort and safety. Visitors also had the opportunity to examine how all information is displayed during operation thanks to the developed user mode system and the large screen. The changes in Sumitomo’s new 7 series regarding walking systems, which are especially important for the marble industry, were appreciated by the visitors. Smitomo’s specially heat treated and reinforced walking tools, armored structure and extra protection, as well as the design that offers more rapid movement capability thanks to its more number and larger diameter rollers, were applauded by the visitors at the fair with the solution it offers to the needs of the marble industry.
Solutions for the Marble Industry
American Hyster’s electric and diesel forklifts, which are especially needed by marble factories, were also among the products exhibited at the fair. Hyster’s diesel H3.5UT model and electric J5.5XN model, which are preferred in marble quarries and factories, were also exhibited. Yanmar was another brand exhibited at the fair. Yanmar’s mini wheel loader model V100, which is used in marble factories, took its place at the TSM GLOBAL stand with its forklift fork and special bucket. Yanmar’s ViO57-6B midi excavator and C12R-C mini dumper were also exhibited at the fair.
Another product of the marble fair was MTG nails. MTG Claws, which was appreciated by the visitors with its special booth corner, introduced its new product group Veemet and Comet series to the visitors at this fair.
Another surprise of Izmir Marble Fair was TSM GLOBAL’s new brand Italian Astra trucks. Known for its heavy-duty design, powerful engine and low fuel consumption, incredible maneuverability and performance in harsh conditions in mines, Astra trucks have also met with the Turkish market under the roof of TSM GLOBAL. Astra’s HD9 84.51 E model was exhibited at the fair and attracted great interest from the visitors. Astra trucks, which attracted attention with many features such as its heavy-duty chassis developed especially for challenging mines, powerful gearbox, spacious and comfortable cabin developed entirely according to the needs of the mining sector, became one of the important brands that made a difference at the fair.
