SUMITOMO’s new 7 Series, developed by Japanese engineers with the aim of more environmentally friendly, lower fuel consumption and much higher efficiency, brings a brand new breath to excavator technology. Combining excellent design with many innovations, SUMITOMO 7 Series meets the new emission standards in Turkey with its environmentally friendly Stage 5 series engine. SUMITOMO 7 Series, which offers up to 15% lower fuel consumption compared to the previous series with its specially designed new SPACE 5 Alpha engine system, increases your profitability. The SPACE 5 Alpha engine system produces high power at low speeds, while reducing your maintenance costs.
Self-Cleaning Long-Lasting System
The SUMITOMO Space 5 Alpha engine uses both the DPD filter system and the SRC filter system with its completely renewed system. The DPD system, which includes a specially designed engine ceramic filter, prevents dew fuel emissions by pre-cleaning and increasing engine efficiency, while the SRC system prevents dew fuel emissions by chemical reaction. Since the system is designed for sustainable operation and high efficiency, it offers many advantages such as self-cleaning, long maintenance intervals and long refueling intervals.
Smart Hydraulic System
Incredibly high efficiency and performance at your fingertips with the SUMITOMO 7 Series, SHIS Alpha Intelligent Hydraulic System. With this newly developed system, your machine provides your variable power needs with maximum efficiency. With the new electronic control, the hydraulic system offers you the highest performance according to your operating mode setting. The Spool Stroke Control (SSC), Boom Down Energy Saving (BES), Automatic Energy Saving (AES), Pump Transition Reduction (PTR), Idle Shut Down and Auto Idle features, which were found in SUMITOMO’s previous series and developed specifically for SUMITOMO, have been further developed and their efficiency has been increased. In addition to these features, the efficiency of the machine is multiplied with features such as the new Special Control Valve, Electronic Control System, Arm Down Energy Saving. With the progressive design and robust structure of the SHIS Alpha Intelligent Hydraulic System developed especially for SUMITOMO, all problems related to pump performance and efficiency have been solved permanently.
Heavy Duty Arm and Boom Standard on All Models
With the new 7 Series, SUMITOMO excavators have increased power and performance, as well as incredible speed compared to the previous series. The machine cycle speed previously achieved in SP and H mode has now been matched even in A mode with the new 7 Series. This high speed and efficiency means that the machine can operate at much, much higher speeds with much lower fuel consumption. The SUMITOMO 7 Series has also revamped the arm and boom structure with a new design. With much higher stress resistance and strength, the entire series is manufactured as HD (heavy duty). SUMITOMO has also changed the standards with this feature. The renewed arm-boom structure of the new 7 Series has been taken to a unique level with the increased thickness dimensions and innovations made in the internal structure.

The new 7 Series undercarriage is much more durable and stable thanks to a reinforced undercarriage system, making it even more durable and stable than its predecessors. SUMITOMO’s new 7 Series undercarriage, which has been perfected with many improvements such as enlarged roller diameters, reinforced guards and covers, and increased hydraulic capacity, guarantees a performance beyond the expectations of users working especially on difficult ground.
