Ammann road and asphalt rollers have become the preferred brand of the landscaping market with its environmentally friendly engine and high performance. Turkey’s leading turf field manufacturer Çim Dünyası increased its production capacity with Ammann patch rollers.
Fahrettin Durmaz, General Coordinator of Çim Dünyası, which produces ready-made turf in its 250,000 m2 farm in Torbalı, Izmir, said that the right machinery and equipment park should be established for high quality production and gave information about their company. Stating that they increased their production capacity with Ammann’s new series tandem roller ARX23-1 model, Durmaz said that they use a roller for the same purpose on a completely different ground other than the usual asphalt applications. Durmaz said, “I have been working as the General Coordinator of Çim Dünyası for 10 years. We send our grass, which we produce in Torbalı, to 81 provinces, especially Izmir, and provide application support when necessary. We aspire to be a company that provides added value to the Turkish economy and improves employment opportunities thanks to our grass, which we have recently started exporting.”
Durmaz; “We Cannot Have a Bad Product”
Fahrettin Durmaz stated that they always prioritize quality in terms of both products and equipment used and underlined that quality is a very important criterion for them. Fahrettin Durmaz said that they examined many features of the new series Ammann ARX23-1 tandem cylinders such as powerful and environmentally friendly engine, operator platform that provides driving comfort, wide legroom, comfortable seat, soft start and stop technology, low noise level, high maneuverability, low operating and maintenance costs and said, “Considering the fact that we work long hours in the field, the fact that the operator does not get tired is the most important criterion for us.
