Sumitomo’s new 7 series powerful and green engine, combined with an efficient hydraulic pump and “Sumitomo Intelligent Hydraulic Control System” (SIHIS) technology, makes production more profitable in marble quarries with excavators that offer high power, efficiency, performance, series and ease of use. These environmentally friendly engines, which reduce emission values, further reduce the cost per ton thanks to the technologies developed for fuel efficiency in Sumitomo excavators. Thanks to the SSC (Piston Stroke Control) system, engine load is reduced during heavy-duty operation, while PTR (Pump Transition Reduction) technology reduces engine load when the pump flow requirement is reduced by sudden pump load. The idle engine shutdown feature automatically stops the engine if the machine does not move for a set period of time, while the automatic idling feature allows the engine to continue idling for 5 seconds after the levers are moved to the idle position. AES (Automatic Energy Saving) technology reduces the engine speed accordingly when low engine load is detected. With BES (Boom Down Energy Saving) technology, the engine speed is reduced when the boom is lowered and in turning operations that do not require large oil flow rates. These systems, combined with the SP, H and A mode functions, enable the operator to perform excavation, dismantling, block tipping, stone plowing and loading in a very fast and comfortable way. Thanks to the extra-reinforced MASS and heavy-duty boom and arm structure, Sumitomo excavators show high performance especially when working with ripper. The extra-reinforced boom and arm structure creates lower vibration during operation, while the high stress resistance allows the machine to work comfortably even with the toughest loads.
Heavy Duty Long Life Undercarriage
Sumitomo’s new 7 series excavators’ specially heat-treated and reinforced undercarriage provides extra protection with its armored structure and offers more rapid mobility thanks to its more number and larger diameter rollers. Sumitomo’s specially designed and developed cabin offers excellent protection, comfort and visibility to the operator, enabling him to work efficiently during long working hours.
Yanmar mini wheel loaders are also one of the indispensable new generation solutions for marble factories. The system makes a two-stage filter that is completely reliable and highly efficient. This system, called ATS, first performs filtration including DOC and DPF cells called DPD. Then comes the second stage consisting of SCR and DPD systems called Urea SCR. With this high filtration, environmental pollution is prevented, and thanks to the turbo system, your engine runs with very high performance without consuming dew fuel. Sumitomo does not require an extra maintenance process for the new 7 series machines.
